Fashion Tips
• Please stop wearing linen! I still see a lot of people with it on. There are still rules!
• It is November, so make your color choices a little darker. (you can bring back all of the brights in January.) You can throw in a punch of hot pink and cobalt blue.
• It is the time to buy boots. DSW has the best selection. Choose wisely—some are way too tall and too trendy. You want your boots to last at least 5 years—they are an investment piece.
• Start making a list of your holiday parties and PLAN AHEAD! Don’t wait until the week of the event to find what you want to wear!
• With budgets getting tighter, put those coupons in your purse before you shop. They can make a real difference! |
Favorites
Basiques—that great black cable sweater that I told you to get last year now comes in red. It is great for the holidays! She is still in Uptown Park—by Starbucks.
Lucy—Great stretchy pants for getting out and about. They have a great wall pf pants in their store on Westheimer in Highland Village. 2 styles, short, reg, and tall lengths, and 3 colors. Check them out.
Endless.com—a great website for shoes. It rivals zappos (another of my favorites).
Nordstrom– Their half yearly sale starts on Nov 5th. Check it out for great deals in women’s and shoes.
KSBJ 89.3 fm—listen in the 8:00 pm hour to hear my tips—Nov 12th! It is also posted on my website so you can listen there if you miss it!
